DUBAI // Accidents plagued the streets of Dubai on Wednesday, exacerbating rush hour traffic.
An accident was reported on the Floating Bridge in the direction of Bur Dubai from Deira, causing delays for motorists crossing Dubai Creek, according to @TrafficDXB.
Another took place on Umm Suqeim Road before Kings Dubai School towards Sheikh Zayed Road causing long tailbacks on the already busy street.
On Sheikh Zayed Road, an accident just before Oasis Mall led to long queues for motorists heading towards Sharjah.
Two seoarate accidents on Al Rebaat Street caused congestion all the way back to Mushrif Park.
The first was after the Nad Al Hammar Road intersection, in the direction of Deira, and the second next to Uptown School on the intersection with Algeria Street.
Motorists heading from Dubai to Al Ain along the Dubai - Al Ain Road were faced with delays after an accident near Academic City led to slow-moving traffic.
An accident on the flyover from Ras Al Khor Road leading onto Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, in the direction of Mirdif, also caused delays for north-bound commuters.
No injuries were reported.
