A burning lorry caused heavy traffic on Sharjah's Emirates Road early on Thursday. Sharjah Police said the lorry fire started at about 6am and caused congestion at intersection seven of the Emirates Road and was cleared at 7.30am. Slow moving traffic was reported in Dubai with heavy traffic on Emirates Road towards 112 street, Amman Street at Exit 63 and Exit 61. Heavy congestion is also expected on E311 Fifth Industrial Street towards Sheikh Khalifa Street and Maliha Road. Further tailbacks were on Mafraq-Ghweifat International Highway towards Al Nahda Road Exit 65 and Baghdad Street Exit 66, and on S113 towards Tuliatela Street and 109 Street. An accident was reported by the Abu Dhabi traffic department at 7.27am, at the exit of Sheikh Zayed Tunnel outbound that caused some delays but was cleared at 7.50am. Slow traffic on 30th Street towards 3rd Street and Delma Street in the capital and moderate traffic on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street towards Hazaa bin Zayed The First Street.
