Abu Dhabi and Sharjah experienced heavy traffic on Tuesday morning, with one crash causing a delay. An accident on Salam Street in the capital caused slow outbound traffic from Qasr Al Bahr to Al Narrat Street. There was congestion on the outskirts of the capital; the Abu Dhabi-Tarif Road from Al Dhafra Air Base to Al Mafraq area in both directions and the Abu Dhabi to Al Ain Road around the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Road junction also in both directions. There was slow-moving traffic on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sweihan roads in both directions from Al Sharia to Al Falah for the former and Al Asayel Stables to Sweihan for the latter. In Sharjah, a number of roads were congested heading to Dubai, including Al Ittihad Road from Industrial Area 7 to Dubai International Airport and the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from Al Tarfa all the way to the Mirdif City Centre in Dubai. A stalled bus slowed traffic around Dubai Mall.
