Start every actions by reciting the name of Allah, the sermon will remind mosque-goers on Friday.
Many aspects of Islam start with what is known as Bismillah, a statement that says: “in the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful”.
One says it before reciting the Quran, before eating, in prayer and before doing everyday actions such as giving a lecture, writing a letter or performing surgery.
“The name of Allah the Almighty has a glorified status in each Muslim's heart, and for His mention there is a gracious standing and honour in each believer's soul,” the sermon will say.
Glorifying Allah can be achieved in several ways. “One can glorify Him by mentioning His name before saying anything as well as before performing any act.”
Such tradition was followed by all prophets. The sermon will tell of Prophet Noah who told the people who accompanied him on his ark, "embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."
This means: in the name of Allah the ship will sail on water, and in His name it will reach to its destination safely.
Another example the sermon will give is when Prophet Suleiman sent a letter to the Queen of Sabaa (Sheba), he wrote in it: "in the Name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims]." It is said he was the first to write the words Bismillah.
Furthermore, Allah taught Prophet Mohammed to recite His name before any act. For instance, the first Aya of the holy Quran that was revealed to the Prophet reads: "recite in the name of your Lord who created."
The Bismillah contains three of the beautiful names of Allah: Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.
"Allah" is believed to be the greatest among Allah's names, so when a person calls Him with it, He will grant them what they asked for and respond to their supplications. Moreover, no one has ever been given this name, neither was it used for anyone except for Him. The Quran says, "do you know of any similarity to Him?"
It is the duty of every Muslim to mention the name of Allah at all times and in all of one's daily affairs. They are also responsible for teaching their children to do so.
Prophet Mohammed would begin ablution with the mention of Allah's name. He also said it upon slaughtering the sacrifice.
The same way we start our day, the Prophet taught us to also end our day by saying "in the name of Allah".

Coffee: black death or elixir of life?
It is among the greatest health debates of our time; splashed across newspapers with contradicting headlines - is coffee good for you or not?
Depending on what you read, it is either a cancer-causing, sleep-depriving, stomach ulcer-inducing black death or the secret to long life, cutting the chance of stroke, diabetes and cancer.
The latest research - a study of 8,412 people across the UK who each underwent an MRI heart scan - is intended to put to bed (caffeine allowing) conflicting reports of the pros and cons of consumption.
The study, funded by the British Heart Foundation, contradicted previous findings that it stiffens arteries, putting pressure on the heart and increasing the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke, leading to warnings to cut down.
Numerous studies have recognised the benefits of coffee in cutting oral and esophageal cancer, the risk of a stroke and cirrhosis of the liver.
The benefits are often linked to biologically active compounds including caffeine, flavonoids, lignans, and other polyphenols, which benefit the body. These and othetr coffee compounds regulate genes involved in DNA repair, have anti-inflammatory properties and are associated with lower risk of insulin resistance, which is linked to type-2 diabetes.
But as doctors warn, too much of anything is inadvisable. The British Heart Foundation found the heaviest coffee drinkers in the study were most likely to be men who smoked and drank alcohol regularly.
Excessive amounts of coffee also unsettle the stomach causing or contributing to stomach ulcers. It also stains the teeth over time, hampers absorption of minerals and vitamins like zinc and iron.
It also raises blood pressure, which is largely problematic for people with existing conditions.
So the heaviest drinkers of the black stuff - some in the study had up to 25 cups per day - may want to rein it in.

The verdict from the nutritionists is damning. But does a cheesecake frappuccino taste good enough to merit the indulgence?
My advice is to only go there if you have unusually sweet tooth. I like my puddings, but this was a bit much even for me. The first hit is a winner, but it's downhill, slowly, from there. Each sip is a little less satisfying than the last, and maybe it was just all that sugar, but it isn't long before the rush is replaced by a creeping remorse. And half of the thing is still left.
The caramel version is far superior to the blueberry, too. If someone put a full caramel cheesecake through a liquidiser and scooped out the contents, it would probably taste something like this. Blueberry, on the other hand, has more of an artificial taste. It's like someone has tried to invent this drink in a lab, and while early results were promising, they're still in the testing phase. It isn't terrible, but something isn't quite right either.
So if you want an experience, go for a small, and opt for the caramel. But if you want a cheesecake, it's probably more satisfying, and not quite as unhealthy, to just order the real thing.
