UAE traffic: Commuters delayed in parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai



An accident in Abu Dhabi created some congestion near Mohammed bin Zayed City early on Tuesday.

Heavy traffic was reported in Al Maqta, Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road and Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street.

Tailbacks also slowed commuters in Dubai's Al Barsha, International City, Dubailand and on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. Tailbacks were reported on Dubai-Al Ain Road near International Academy City.

Motorists heading from Sharjah towards Dubai were caught in long queues on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Al Ittihad Street.

Vehicles were also at standstill Al Qusais area, Al Mizhar and Muhaisnah.
