If you're planning on taking a trip on the seas this weekend, you'll need to be alert. Warnings have been issued by the National Center for Meteorology and Seismology over rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. Waves at the Arabian Gulf reached 1.5 to three metres high, due to strong northwesterly winds. Meanwhile, waves reached 1.5 to two metres high in the Oman Sea yesterday, and was likely to continue until 7pm this evening. Otherwise, the weekend weather is forecast to be fine over the weekend, with a chance of fog and mist. Today the sky will be partly cloudy, and at times hazy. On dry land, we will have moderate to light winds, and over the sea the wind will be fresh at first, and gradually change to light to moderate. The humidity, which tends to increase at night and early in the morning, may cause some mist. Tomorrow it will also be fair to partly cloudy, with increased humidity during the night and early morning heightening chances of fog. The sea is expected to calm tomorrow.
