Heavy rain fell in various parts of the UAE yesterday and more is expected on Monday, with cloud cover persisting across the country. Winds will be blow over the sea and exposed areas reaching 50 kilometres per hour, creating waves up to 9 feet offshore, according to the National Centre for Meteorology. The centre expects rain to lash out in parts of Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Dhaid, Sharjah, Dubai, Al Ain and Dalma area. Moderate to light rain is expected over Abu Dhabi and the western region in the capital. The temperature will range between 28°Celsius to 33°C in Dubai, and 27°C to 31°C in Abu Dhabi while temperatures along the coast will range between 22°C to 34°C, and 14°C to 28°C in the mountains.
