Sandy conditions in the UAE on Thursday have made way for a drop in temperatures. Fair and cloudy skies are expected across the country on Friday with highs of 39°C in Abu Dhabi. Light to moderate rain was reported last night over areas in Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Fujairah and Sharjah. Humidity is expected to increase - reaching 80 per cent at night - in parts of the country which may cause fog in the early mornings, according to the National Centre for Meteorology. Winds will be light to moderate while the sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea. The temperature will drop reaching between 26°C to 39°C in Abu Dhabi and 27°C to 36°C in Dubai. Temperatures along the coast will range between 26°C and 43°C, and 22°C to 37°C in the mountains. The lowest temperature was recorded in Jebal Jais area with 17.8°C on Friday morning.
