UAE weather: temperatures to rise over the weekend, and seas to calm



ABU DHABI // Mostly sunny skies are forecast on Thursday with pleasant conditions expected to carry through the weekend.

Mist was reported over Liwa with satellite images showing the development of fog in the far western areas of the country.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology warned against poor visibility inland and in the Western Region.

Temperatures across the country will rise slightly compared with the beginning of the week, ranging between 14°C and 25°C along the coast, 12°C and 28°C inland and between 8°C and 18°C in the mountains.

Light winds will be freshening at times with speeds peaking at 32 kilometres an hour.

Seas will be moderate turning rough in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in the Sea of Oman, although conditions are expected to calm by Friday.

Temperatures are set to increase further over the weekend with light winds keeping conditions cool.
