Tears turned to joy for an Emirati youngster who received a royal visit from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid after missing out on a National Day call from the Ruler of Dubai. Footage of Salama Al Qahtani crying was shared on social media this week as she was upset that she didn’t receive a dispatch from Sheikh Mohammed. On the eve of the 47th UAE National Day, many residents received a call from a number that appeared as '1971' that had a prerecorded message from the Ruler of Dubai. However, Salama got more than just a call - Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid granted her a personal visit.
