Two Singapore F-15SGs fighter jets escorted a Scoot airline flight from the Philippines on Sunday following a bomb scare. Singapore's Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said in a Facebook post that investigations discovered the bomb threat was a false alarm. The threat was allegedly made by a 13-year-old male passenger on-board flight TR385 on June 2 heading from Cebu to Singapore. "The SAF takes every threat as real and seriously, until proven otherwise. The RSAF will stay ever vigilant," Mr Ng said. All 144 passengers and six crew members on-board the plane landed safely on Sunday at Changi Airport, a spokesman from Scoot told news outlet The Straits Times. Passengers were subjected to a security screening upon arrival. Police reported that the 13-year-old is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.
