A kebab chef in Turkey's southeast province of Adana cooked a 60-metre-long kebab for a family wedding. Self-proclaimed King of Meat Yasar Aydin traditionally makes his delicacies with square-shaped pipes rather than the generally accepted choice of skewers, so the dish required rather more planning than usual. Before his latest effort, the longest kebab he had made was a mere 12 metres. "I wanted to create something original for my son's wedding," Aydin said, adding that he'd worked for days to fix the square pipes together and assemble the series of barbecues needed to cook his creation. Villagers, of course, were quick to tuck in as soon as the kebab was ready.
