London's first ever celebratory Ramadan lights have been installed in Piccadilly Circus featuring 30,000 sustainable lights. The initiative was led by non-profit organisation Ramadan Lights UK. The West End area will be lit up for the month of Ramadan. Muslims around the world celebrate the holy month of Ramadan by praying during the night time and abstaining from eating, drinking, and sexual acts during the period between sunrise and sunset.
