Smoked salmon seas, broccoli trees and cornflake autumn leaves: these fantastical landscapes have been created entirely out of food by the British photographer Carl Warner, whose book Food Landscapes is out this month. The advertising photographer takes two or three days to build each "foodscape", photographs them layer by layer (to prevent the food from wilting), and then spends a couple of days putting the images together and retouching. Carl Warner's Food Landscapes is available at www.amazon.com.
