Alicia Keys to bring World on Fire tour to Dubai

Alicia Keys will perform in Dubai as part of her Set the World on Fire tour.

Organised by Done Events, the 32-year-old Grammy winner will take the stage at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on November 15.

The tour comes on the back of Key's recent fifth album, Girl on Fire. The latest song collection has Keys partly returning to her winning blend of R&B and luscious piano ballads.

Working with the likes of Bruno Mars and her hip-hop producer and husband Swizz Beats, Girl on Fire finds Keys modernising some of her sounds with traces of electro-pop, rock and reggae.

Key's latest show marks her third visit to the UAE. The first was in Dubai Media City in 2004, before she returned in 2008 alongside George Michael for a dream double-bill performance at Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City.

Thomas Overson, the head of Done Events, recently flew out to London to check out the European leg of Keys' tour, and says fans won't be disappointed.

Tickets go on sale from Sunday and cost from Dh295. For pre-sale ticket information, visit www.doneevents.com.
