Don't worry, this story will feature no spoilers. But still, Stranger Things fans will know that season three of the hit Netflix show ended in a way that felt seriously final.
However, the show's creators, the Duffer Brothers, say it's far from over. They have confirmed that at least two more seasons lie ahead.
Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter that "season four won't be the end".
"We know what the end is, and we know when it is," he said of the storyline. "[The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story."
As for when we will actually get to see season four, the showrunners say the pandemic has delayed things. IMDb currently lists the release date of the next season as 2021, suggesting there will be no Stranger Things this year.
Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter that their priority is "the safety of the cast and crew", adding that this "will dictate" when they return to shooting. However, his brother Matt noted that the hold-up means the storyline may actually be stronger by the time they get to film.
"We've had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time, we have all the scripts written and we're able to look at it as a whole piece and make adjustments."
A teaser trailer for season four released six months ago sees show hero Hopper (played by David Harbour) in what looks like a very dreary, secure working prison in Russia.
Remember, Alexei, a key character in season three, is Russian.
But why is Hopper there? Or, more intriguingly, how did he end up there? It seems like we will have to wait until next year to find all that out.

What the law says
Micro-retirement is not a recognised concept or employment status under Federal Decree Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations (as amended) (UAE Labour Law). As such, it reflects a voluntary work-life balance practice, rather than a recognised legal employment category, according to Dilini Loku, senior associate for law firm Gateley Middle East.
“Some companies may offer formal sabbatical policies or career break programmes; however, beyond such arrangements, there is no automatic right or statutory entitlement to extended breaks,” she explains.
“Any leave taken beyond statutory entitlements, such as annual leave, is typically regarded as unpaid leave in accordance with Article 33 of the UAE Labour Law. While employees may legally take unpaid leave, such requests are subject to the employer’s discretion and require approval.”
If an employee resigns to pursue micro-retirement, the employment contract is terminated, and the employer is under no legal obligation to rehire the employee in the future unless specific contractual agreements are in place (such as return-to-work arrangements), which are generally uncommon, Ms Loku adds.

What are NFTs?

However, while money is fungible, NFTs are not. “One Bitcoin, dollar, euro or dirham is largely indistinguishable from the next. Nothing ties a dollar bill to a particular owner, for example. Nor does it tie you to to any goods, services or assets you bought with that currency. In contrast, NFTs confer specific ownership,” Mr Das says.
This makes NFTs closer to a piece of intellectual property such as a work of art or licence, as you can claim royalties or profit by exchanging it at a higher value later, Mr Das says. “They could provide a sustainable income stream.”
This income will depend on future demand and use, which makes NFTs difficult to value. “However, there is a credible use case for many forms of intellectual property, notably art, songs, videos,” Mr Das says.
