The UAE favourite Akon is returning to Dubai for a club performance next Wednesday.
The Senegalese artist, responsible for the hits Smack That and Lonely, will perform at the Fairmont Hotel's Cavalli Club on September 24.
The 41-year-old returns to the Emirates after performing club shows in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in November 2013 as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix festivities.
Since then, he had released his new single So Blue from his forthcoming – and chronically delayed – fourth album Stadium; a release date has not been announced yet.
