DJ Aklef is the new resident DJ for 2 LIV’s Afro Beat DXB night.

The Dubai DJ will helm the decks at the Sofitel The Palm Jumeirah club with a selection of the genre’s latest tunes and classics.

The events, held every Wednesday, has been building a steady buzz courtesy of the free mixtapes offered to revellers to spread the word.

Tickets are Dh100 for males while ladies and mixed groups receive free entry.
