Paris Hilton out and about with sister Nicky in Dubai



Paris Hilton spent the weekend showing her sister Nicky all the popular sights and sounds of Dubai. And her 12.9 million followers on Twitter and another three million on Instagram kept track of her whereabouts from a shopping spree to an appearance at the launch party of Clé Dubai, last night.

The socialite is in Dubai to celebrate her sister Nicky Hilton’s birthday and spin the discs at Clé Dubai today.

The TV-celebrity turned businesswoman and DJ arrived in the Emirate on Thursday and has been out and about, shopping at Dubai Mall and catching up with local friends.

"Love the view from my bedroom! Amazing! Feel like a Princess in my beautiful suite!", @parishilton posted with a several Instagram videos capturing the Dubai Fountain and view from the balcony of her suite at The Address in Downtown Dubai.

Yesterday, Hilton took her sister shopping at Studio8, the multi-brand boutique by launched by UAE entrepreneur Sarah Belhasa.

"#SisterShoppingDay at our favourite store in Dubai! Love your store @SarahRashid13! @Studio8Fashion has so many beautiful dresses & accessories!"

The celebrities picked up quirky ‘I love my Bugatti’ and a number plate styled clutches from the store, before heading to the Dubai aquarium for selfies. “Such a beautiful aquarium,” she posted on social media.

The star also plugged in some marketing for her new Rouge By Paris Hilton handbag line, which is sold at Lifestyle stores in the country.

Hilton, dressed in a flowy empire waist gown, posed for shutterbugs with Nicky, who opted for a golden long sleeve gown from Studio8, at Natural selection Dubai.

Hilton posted: “Love the beautiful gold gown I got today from @Studio8Fashion. Feel like a #GoldenGoddess in it.”

On her social media feed, @NickyHilton added: "American hustle vibes."

The sisters teamed up with reality-TV star Khloé Kardashian for the opening of Clé Dubai yesterday. "Fun #GirlsNightOut at @CleDubai with @KhloeKardashian & @NickyHilton."

1970

October 26: Bahrain withdraws from a proposal to create a federation of nine with the seven Trucial States and Qatar. 

December: Ahmed Al Suwaidi visits New York to discuss potential UN membership.

1971

March 1:  Alex Douglas Hume, Conservative foreign secretary confirms that Britain will leave the Gulf and “strongly supports” the creation of a Union of Arab Emirates.

July 12: Historic meeting at which Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid make a binding agreement to create what will become the UAE.

July 18: It is announced that the UAE will be formed from six emirates, with a proposed constitution signed. RAK is not yet part of the agreement.

August 6:  The fifth anniversary of Sheikh Zayed becoming Ruler of Abu Dhabi, with official celebrations deferred until later in the year.

August 15: Bahrain becomes independent.

September 3: Qatar becomes independent.

November 23-25: Meeting with Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid and senior British officials to fix December 2 as date of creation of the UAE.

December 2: 11am, Dubai. New Supreme Council formally elects Sheikh Zayed as President. Treaty of Friendship signed with the UK. 11.30am. Flag raising ceremony at Union House and Al Manhal Palace in Abu Dhabi witnessed by Sheikh Khalifa, then Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

December 6: Arab League formally admits the UAE. The first British Ambassador presents his credentials to Sheikh Zayed.

December 9: UAE joins the United Nations.
