The organisers of next year’s International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Idex) have announced a new event dedicated to drone technology.
Designed to run alongside the Idex conference, the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (Umex), will take place from February 22-26 in Abu Dhabi.
The announcement was made on Wednesday at a briefing session of Eurosatory 2014, taking place in Paris.
Organisers also said that over 95 per cent of the exhibition space for Idex has already been booked.
