Kris Van Assche, the Creative Director for Dior Homme, has announced he is shutting his eponymous label after 10 years.

“Times are tough for independent labels,” he told WWD earlier today. “This wonderful adventure has reached a point where I feel I need to take a break and some distance to better think about how to develop my brand in the future.”

Known for his sharp silhouettes and sleek styling, Van Assche will continue his role at Dior Homme, where he has been for eight years.
