For her latest appearance on Legendary, Jameela Jamil sported a gown that is just that. The British actress and TV host wore a sculptural, gilded design for a new episode of the reality TV show, which was crafted by one of the region's leading design duos. The strapless gown, embroidered with golden thread and scattered with semi-precious stones, is the work of Lebanese couturiers Azzi & Osta. The Beirut label, helmed by George Azzi and Assaad Osta, has also dressed the likes of Beyonce and Cardi B. Jamil, 34, teamed the duo's voluminous gown with a crystal-studded mesh veil and stacked golden bangles. The Good Place actress, and body positivity activist, shared a series of images from the episode, as she posed with her co-judges Leiomy Maldonado, Megan Thee Stallion and Law Roach. The show, which is broadcast on HBO Max, features teams of underground ballroom dancers who perform "voguing", as well as displaying their styling skills, in a bid to win a $100,000 (Dh367,300) prize. The dress is from Azzi & Osta's Couture Spring Summer 2019 collection titled Memoirs from the Silk Road: "So much love to my Legendary family. Thank you to the universe for allowing me to work with @luxurylaw @wond3rwoman1 @dashaunwesley and @theestallion," the actress captioned the behind-the-scenes images. "These people are my friends. And I love them. Our show is out now." Scroll through the pictures in this Instagram post for more views of Jamil's structural Azzi & Osta gown: Azzi & Osta launched their namesake label in 2010, after the pair met as design students at the Esmod fashion school in Lebanon. The fashion brand, which has also been sported by the likes of Queen Rania of Jordan and Kendall Jenner, is renowned for its architecturally impressive gowns, which blend striking silhouettes with romantic fabrics. This isn't the first time Jamil has championed a label from the region. The actress wore a one-shouldered creation by Lebanon's Rami Kadi for an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show in September 2019. The star, who is behind Instagram's I Weigh movement, sported another label from a Lebanese designer that month, wearing an off-shoulder gown by Elie Saab for an appearance on The Daily Show.
