It’s been a good month for Taylor Swift. Not only has the singer just celebrated her 30th birthday, she was also named as ‘Woman of the Decade’ by Billboard. And to collect the award, Swift chose jewellery by Lebanese-Brazilian designer Ana Khouri. She walked the pink carper at the Billboard awards in a black Oscar de la Renta Jumpsuit with gold chain details, complementing the look with her diamond Christy and Lily Earrings by Ana Khouri. The designer, who is based in New York, is known for her delicate and dainty designs, which are said to be inspired by her Middle Eastern heritage. Her pieces have also been spotted on the likes of Alicia Vikander, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron. Swift's appearance at the awards drew headlines for more than just her look. During her acceptance speech, the Bad Blood hitmaker chose to highlight male privilege in the music video. During the 15-minute speech, she called out record label owner Scooter Braun, who in June bought the rights to Swifts entire back catalogue. During the speech, she said, “Let me just say that the definition of the toxic male privilege in our industry is people saying, ‘But he’s always been nice to me!’ when I’m raising valid concerns about artists and their right to own their music.”
