The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night, with Jimmy Kimmel presenting to an empty theatre and its usual celebrity audience attending virtually from the comfort of their homes.
Many chose to dress up for the occasion, including Regina King and Jennifer Aniston, but other stars went for a more casual approach.
Here we look at the stars who strictly adhered to the loungewear dress code:
1. Jameela Jamil
The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil wore a white pyjama set with a yellow and light blue sequin dressing gown, and posed from her very comfortable-looking plush, blue sofa.
"No bra? No heels? NO PROBLEM," she captioned the photo. "Wearing PJs to the 72nd Emmy Awards (from my house) is my kind of vibes. Excited to see if we win any of the seven awards we have been nominated for!!!!"
Referencing her Good Place character, she said: "I still did my make up and wore a sequin dressing gown, because ... It's what Tahani would have wanted. And this is her day, not mine."
2. Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle Union introduced Insecure as a nominee during the ceremony, with husband Dwyane Wade. To do so, she wore a shower cap and dressing gown, and rapped into a make-up brush.
"The show's mad funny. Issa's trying to find herself, and Molly's got money," she rapped.
Posting the clip to her Instagram, she said: "Rap career launched. [You're] welcome ... It's no secret we are huge @insecurehbo fans so this was hella fun to do. Always winners in our house and in our hearts. Here's our bit in full."
3. Taika Waititi
Kiwi director Taika Waititi posed from his bed, ahead of the Emmy Awards. He joked that he was "Emmys ready... to go back to sleep," wearing pyjamas for the occasion. He also captioned the post "#hotelquarantine".
4. Rachel Brosnahan and Jason Ralph
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan and her The Magicians star husband Jason Ralph wore matching navy and purple pyjama sets for the occasion, their two dogs also had matching bows.
"Pyjamas but make it fashion," Brosnahan joked, posing for the ceremony from her home in New York. The looks were made by Christy Rilling and will be auctioned by Chic Relief from Wednesday, September 23, to Friday, October 2, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to When We All Vote.
5. Octavia Spencer
Self Made's Octavia Spencer lost out on the Actress in a limited series to Regina King for Watchmen, but that didn't stop her treating herself to a lavish spread, while wearing loungewear in the comfort of her own home.
"No red carpet but live from my white couch," she joked, tagging her hair stylist and make-up artist. She also tagged Tadashi Shoji, the designer of her relaxed loungewear-style dress.
6. Mark Duplass
The Morning Show actor Mark Duplass wore pyjamas, paired with a tuxedo jacket, a combination befitting the occasion.
"Tonight's look brought to you by old tux jacket from Cyrus awards season and Target's limited Clark Griswold Christmas Jammies collection," he captioned the picture.

How Tesla’s price correction has hit fund managers
Investing in disruptive technology can be a bumpy ride, as investors in Tesla were reminded on Friday, when its stock dropped 7.5 per cent in early trading to $575.
It recovered slightly but still ended the week 15 per cent lower and is down a third from its all-time high of $883 on January 26. The electric car maker’s market cap fell from $834 billion to about $567bn in that time, a drop of an astonishing $267bn, and a blow for those who bought Tesla stock late.
The collapse also hit fund managers that have gone big on Tesla, notably the UK-based Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust and Cathie Wood’s ARK Innovation ETF.
Tesla is the top holding in both funds, making up a hefty 10 per cent of total assets under management. Both funds have fallen by a quarter in the past month.
Matt Weller, global head of market research at GAIN Capital, recently warned that Tesla founder Elon Musk had “flown a bit too close to the sun”, after getting carried away by investing $1.5bn of the company’s money in Bitcoin.
He also predicted Tesla’s sales could struggle as traditional auto manufacturers ramp up electric car production, destroying its first mover advantage.
AJ Bell’s Russ Mould warns that many investors buy tech stocks when earnings forecasts are rising, almost regardless of valuation. “When it works, it really works. But when it goes wrong, elevated valuations leave little or no downside protection.”
A Tesla correction was probably baked in after last year’s astonishing share price surge, and many investors will see this as an opportunity to load up at a reduced price.
Dramatic swings are to be expected when investing in disruptive technology, as Ms Wood at ARK makes clear.
Every week, she sends subscribers a commentary listing “stocks in our strategies that have appreciated or dropped more than 15 per cent in a day” during the week.
Her latest commentary, issued on Friday, showed seven stocks displaying extreme volatility, led by ExOne, a leader in binder jetting 3D printing technology. It jumped 24 per cent, boosted by news that fellow 3D printing specialist Stratasys had beaten fourth-quarter revenues and earnings expectations, seen as good news for the sector.
By contrast, computational drug and material discovery company Schrödinger fell 27 per cent after quarterly and full-year results showed its core software sales and drug development pipeline slowing.
Despite that setback, Ms Wood remains positive, arguing that its “medicinal chemistry platform offers a powerful and unique view into chemical space”.
In her weekly video view, she remains bullish, stating that: “We are on the right side of change, and disruptive innovation is going to deliver exponential growth trajectories for many of our companies, in fact, most of them.”
Ms Wood remains committed to Tesla as she expects global electric car sales to compound at an average annual rate of 82 per cent for the next five years.
She said these are so “enormous that some people find them unbelievable”, and argues that this scepticism, especially among institutional investors, “festers” and creates a great opportunity for ARK.

What is the FNC?
The Federal National Council is one of five federal authorities established by the UAE constitution. It held its first session on December 2, 1972, a year to the day after Federation.
It has 40 members, eight of whom are women. The members represent the UAE population through each of the emirates. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have eight members each, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah six, and Ajman, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain have four.
They bring Emirati issues to the council for debate and put those concerns to ministers summoned for questioning.
The FNC’s main functions include passing, amending or rejecting federal draft laws, discussing international treaties and agreements, and offering recommendations on general subjects raised during sessions.
Federal draft laws must first pass through the FNC for recommendations when members can amend the laws to suit the needs of citizens. The draft laws are then forwarded to the Cabinet for consideration and approval.
Since 2006, half of the members have been elected by UAE citizens to serve four-year terms and the other half are appointed by the Ruler’s Courts of the seven emirates.
In the 2015 elections, 78 of the 252 candidates were women. Women also represented 48 per cent of all voters and 67 per cent of the voters were under the age of 40.

Who are the Sacklers?
The Sackler family is a transatlantic dynasty that owns Purdue Pharma, which manufactures and markets OxyContin, one of the drugs at the centre of America's opioids crisis. The family is well known for their generous philanthropy towards the world's top cultural institutions, including Guggenheim Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, Tate in Britain, Yale University and the Serpentine Gallery, to name a few. Two branches of the family control Purdue Pharma.
Isaac Sackler and Sophie Greenberg were Jewish immigrants who arrived in New York before the First World War. They had three sons. The first, Arthur, died before OxyContin was invented. The second, Mortimer, who died aged 93 in 2010, was a former chief executive of Purdue Pharma. The third, Raymond, died aged 97 in 2017 and was also a former chief executive of Purdue Pharma.
It was Arthur, a psychiatrist and pharmaceutical marketeer, who started the family business dynasty. He and his brothers bought a small company called Purdue Frederick; among their first products were laxatives and prescription earwax remover.
Arthur's branch of the family has not been involved in Purdue for many years and his daughter, Elizabeth, has spoken out against it, saying the company's role in America's drugs crisis is "morally abhorrent".
The lawsuits that were brought by the attorneys general of New York and Massachussetts named eight Sacklers. This includes Kathe, Mortimer, Richard, Jonathan and Ilene Sackler Lefcourt, who are all the children of either Mortimer or Raymond. Then there's Theresa Sackler, who is Mortimer senior's widow; Beverly, Raymond's widow; and David Sackler, Raymond's grandson.
Members of the Sackler family are rarely seen in public.
