Serious foodies would do well to head to Emirates Towers in Dubai on Saturday, August 1, for what Jumeirah Restaurant Group is calling the 'Gastronomer's Dinner.'
The culinary flight of fancy starts with an aperitif, followed by a paired three-course meal, finishing with dessert and a cocktail. The twist? The meal will be served across three different venues within the hotel.
Alta Badia Bar on the 51st floor is the first stop, where guests will be treated to cocktails and an amuse bouche at an altitude of more than 1000 feet. Following which, starters of Italian cuisine will be served at Alta Badia’s chef’s table.
For the main course, diners will descend to The Rib Room to enjoy the Butcher’s Block, which consists of a sharing platter of tenderloin steak, lamb cutlets, short ribs and mini burgers.
Rounding off the meal in stylish fashion, patrons will make their way to They Ivy to indulge in a dessert platter followed by a cocktail masterclass in the restaurant’s bar.
The Gastronomer’s Dinner costs Dh750 per person and will be offered daily from August 1 at 7.30pm. A maximum of ten guests can be accommodated per booking, however special requests can be made. To make a reservation call 04 366 5866 or email JRGreservations@jumeirah.com
