The UAE sits on a major migration path for more than 300 species of birds, most of which come from Europe and Central Asia to escape the harsh winter.
The Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society has been recording the UAE's birding hotspots since 1971 and their results can also be found on the website, ebird.org. Using these results, we've created a map showing the bird concentrations across the seven emirates. So, go get your binoculars, keep your eyes and ears
wide open; you might still find one of these unique and colourful birds around these spots before they fly far away, looking for milder climates.
