Toyota recalls faulty throttles

UNITED STATES // Toyota is recalling 2.3million vehicles sold in the United States since 2005 to address a problem with its accelerator pedal assembly. Some owners have reported their Toyota's throttle being stuck open while driving. This latest announcement follows October's recall of a further 4.2m Toyota vehicles in the US to address a separate fault with pedals being jammed open by floor mats. The recall affects models throughout the car maker's product range, including the Corolla, Camry, Tundra and Sequoia.
