As if <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/lifestyle/motoring/bugatti-divo-ferrari-pista-spider-and-more-at-monterey-car-week-in-pictures-1.763893">unveiling its new special-edition Divo hypercar</a> wasn't enough Bugatti fun for one week, now the French carmaker has announced an even more impressive project: a driveable full-sized Chiron envisioned by Danish toymaker Lego. This particular Chiron features more than a million Lego Technic parts, including more than 2,300 motors and 4,000 gear wheels, with no glue used in the assembly. The Lego car's top speed is rather more modest than the production Chiron's mark of 420kph – it will manage about 20kph – but it can still carry two passengers. Weighing 1.5 tonnes, the Lego car produces 5.3hp and 92Nm of torque, compared with 1,500hp and 1,600Nm in the "real" Chiron. It comes with a functional rear spoiler, as well as real Chiron wheels, and took a total of 13,438 man hours to develop and build. The Lego car was put through its paces at Ehra Lessien in Germany, the same venue for the real Chiron's original testing. It will be showcased at this weekend's Formula One Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
