Residents in Dubai were left feeling more like they were on another planet this morning. Rather than the usual sunny skies in shades of blue, orange or grey, they were treated with clouds of pink and red.
The city looked a bit like the planet Mars thanks to the rare occurrence of a rainstorm. So, naturally, people took to social media to share their photos of how the emirate looked like another planet:
