Barca bring back World Cup stars for Sevilla

Barcelona are counting on their World Cup stars to overcome a 3-1 deficit to Sevilla in the return leg of the Spanish Super Cup tonight. The eight Barcelona players who helped Spain to World Cup victory in South Africa were unavailable for the first leg, leaving a depleted starting line-up against the Copa del Rey winners. Tonight's game at Barcelona's Camp Nou could see David Villa make his debut for the Spanish champions after a ?40 million (Dh227m) transfer from Valencia. Victor Valdes, the goalkeeper, defenders Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique, midfielders Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets and Pedro, the forward, are also available. Barcelona are trying for a record ninth victory in the annual match between league and domestic cup winners. Barcelona and Real Madrid have each won eight times.
