The Burj Al Arab is not only one of the most famous hotels in the world, but its helipad has become synonymous with hosting a raft of sports promotions featuring the world's biggest stars. Who could forget golf great Tiger Woods teeing off in 2004 ahead of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic? Or Roger Federer and Andre Agassi taking tennis to new heights in 2005 to promote the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships? The helipad also hosted then-Formula One champions Red Bull Racing in 2013, with driver David Coulthard performing a series of donuts in the car. Now it's the turn of boxing superstar Anthony Joshua, who as part of a Visit Dubai promotion, climbed through the ropes of a ring set up on the helipad to take part in a training session. Joshua, the IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight world champion, has been in Dubai to promote the Dubai Fitness Challenge. His visit to the UAE came after his latest victory, a 10th round stoppage of Carlos Takam in London last month, which stretched his perfect professional record to 20 wins, all by way of knockout. Joshua, 28, is also an Olympic gold medallist having starred at the 2012 Games in London. Joshua's visit to Dubai has proved eventful, with the Briton also teaming up with former Italy World Cup-winning captain Fabio Cannavaro for a game of football.
