The Baltimore Ravens have signed the Super Bowl winning receiver David Tyree who was released by the New York Giants last month. The 29-year-old is best known for his spectacular acrobatic catch in the Super Bowl at the end of the 2007 season against the New England Patriots when he leapt high to catch an Eli Manning pass and fell to the ground clutching the ball against his helmet. The third down play helped continue an improbable Giants game-winning drive. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins running back Patrick Cobbs has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury. "Patrick's done," said Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano when asked the status of his reserve running back.
