Mr Maezawa, 46, founder of Japan’s largest online fashion site, launched into space with video producer Yozo Hirano (L) and cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin.

A Russian Soyuz rocket carried the crew to the ISS.

Mr Maezawa shared his experience of the intense training that all amateur and trained astronauts have to undergo before a mission to the space station.
