The concept of keeping horses outside is based on the work of horse expert Jamie Jackson, who discovered wild mustangs keep to familiar routines.

Mr Jackson noticed that despite the amount of space horses have, they graze, exercise and sleep in a small area.

The paddock is home to 28 horses.

Malath Paddock Paradise is one of only two facilities of its kind in the UAE, the other being in Dubai.
