Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said the Government is keen to achieve the highest levels of national food security as it is key to the quality of life in the UAE.
"We want the UAE to be a pioneer in food security through the development of a comprehensive and sustainable work process that uses future technology to find solutions.
"We want a better future for the next generations, where every member of society will receive healthy food."
The Dubai Ruler's comments came as he reviewed the results of Government Accelerators Working Groups – 10 strategic initiatives that were developed to find creative solutions to increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of locally produced food products.
