Emiratis can now have subsidised goods home-delivered

Emiratis in Abu Dhabi can now have their subsidised goods delivered to their doorstep, following an agreement between Abu Dhabi Municipality and Emirates Post.

Available from August 2017 the service will cover Abu Dhabi city, at a fee of Dh40 in a bid to upgrade services offered to customers, reported Aletihad.

Currently Emiratis collect their subsidised goods from select branches of the Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society.

The agreement also extends to municipal transactions. Emiratis and expatriates can submit documents at Emirates Post offices, where they will be sent to the Municipality. When the transaction is completed, the documents will be delivered to the customer.
