Customers of du home Wi-Fi took to social media on Saturday to complain about disruption to the service.
Officials at the company blamed the issue on an internet cable being cut elsewhere in the world and said staff were working to address the problem.

In a tweet, du apologised for the inconvenience and promised to provide customers with updates.
“Dear customers, we’re currently facing technical issues in our home services due to a global cable cut,” it said.
“Our team is working on restoring the service back to normal. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.”
