Forecasters issued a weather alert after fog enveloped parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Visibility on Sunday dropped to less than one kilometre in parts of eastern Abu Dhabi, stretching from the coast towards the border with Saudi Arabia in the south.
An area between Dubai and the border with Oman was also affected.
The fog is expected to clear leaving a sunny and partly cloudy day in most areas.
However, the east of the country will be overcast.
Winds will be light to moderate and temperatures will reach up to 42°C in Abu Dhabi and 41°C in Dubai.
Humidity will increase overnight, bringing the risk of further mist and fog, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Classification of skills
A worker is categorised as skilled by the MOHRE based on nine levels given in the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) issued by the International Labour Organisation.
A skilled worker would be someone at a professional level (levels 1 – 5) which includes managers, professionals, technicians and associate professionals, clerical support workers, and service and sales workers.
The worker must also have an attested educational certificate higher than secondary or an equivalent certification, and earn a monthly salary of at least Dh4,000.

“One mistake people always make is adding extra wasabi. There is no need for this, because it should already be there between the rice and the fish.
