The UAE is set to be hit by heavy rain on Tuesday, following showers and thunder overnight across the country.
Abu Dhabi Police on Monday night warned drivers to be cautious due to low visibility during high winds and dust.
There was rain and thunderstorms in the north of the country on Monday evening, the National Centre of Meteorology said. Lighting struck in Abu Al Abyad, Al Ruwais, Dalma and Sila.
The weather bureau expects temperatures reaching up to 35°C in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai.
