The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has wished Saudi Arabia well ahead of Saudi National Day and described the two countries as having "one pulse". In a Twitter post accompanied by pictures of the UAE's leaders with King Salman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, also said Riyadh is expanding its global presence and that each year the UAE and Saudi are closer "brothers". Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, also shared a video charting relations between the two states.
