Major roadworks ahead for busy Abu Dhabi area

Tenth Street in Al Zahiyah, formerly known as Tourist Club Area, will close this month and remain shut until March next year.

Major road works are to begin in one of Abu Dhabi's busiest areas and they will continue for nine months.

Tenth Street in Al Zahiyah, formerly known as Tourist Club Area, will close this month and remain shut until March next year.

Abu Dhabi Municipality said in a public notice that access to Abu Dhabi Mall and the popular Beach Rotana and Le Meridien hotels would be from nearby Ferdous Street.

Ferdous Street will be converted from a one-way street to two ways.
