Three men were arrested on suspicion of robbing two women as they were leaving the bank, Abu Dhabi Police said on Monday.
In two separate incidents, the men - aged between 23 and 38 and of Asian descent - waited until the women returned to their cars then one of them knocked on the window and pointed towards one of the tyres.

The women got out of their cars to check if there was a problem with the tyre while another one of the men opened the passenger doors, stole the women's bags and ran away, according to Maj Musabah Al Kabtbi, director of Shaabiya Police Station.
Brig Ahmed Al Muhairi, director of the Capital Police Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police said the operation room received two theft reports and assigned a CID team to investigate.

Police tracked the men down in Ajman where they were arrested in a co-ordinated operation between Ajman and Abu Dhabi police.
"The two victims identified the gang members whom are now under investigation," said Brig Al Muhairi.
This year, Abu Dhabi police arrested four men who robbed an elderly man and an Arab woman using a similar ruse.

Brig Al Muhairi advised bank customers, especially women and the elderly, to be extra cautious while leaving a bank, to avoid carrying large amounts of money and not to leave envelopes of money inside cars.
