National Day celebrations took to the skies on Sunday as four UAE airlines joined the country's air force for a flypast from Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways, Emirates, flydubai and Air Arabia linked up with Al Fursan, the Emirates' aerobatics demonstration team, who were using Aermacchi MB-339A jets. Emirates said taking videos and photographs of the event was welcome but asked the public not to put the formation at risk by using drones.
