Construction work on the Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mosque in Zakher, Al Ain, has been completed, the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, announced on Monday.
The pyramid-shaped mosque, expected to open on Friday, is one of the city’s architectural landmarks.
The mosque has been constructed in both Moroccan and Andalusian styles featuring Islamic architecture.
Construction started in May 2013 and was completed just over two weeks ago.
