The UAE Central Bank has commissioned a special one dirham coin to mark the seventh anniversary of the appointment of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed as the Crown Prince of Dubai.

Abdullah bin Dalmouk, chief executive of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, said the coin was marking “The decision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to select Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed as Crown Prince was received with an overwhelming sense of welcome and blessings at all levels in the emirate and the state.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed represents the brighter future of Dubai with high and limitless aspirations and ambitions.”
