RAK Airways started flights from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah yesterday.
The airline will offer four flights a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, between Ras Al Khaimah and the capital. Flights leave RAK at 6.40am and Abu Dhabi at 10am.
RAK Airways has a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways.
More flights between RAK and Abu Dhabi are planned by the end of the year.
The flight takes 45 minutes, not including check-in at the airport. The drive between Abu Dhabi and RAK is three hours.
