Dh940m flyover opens in Dubai to ease Al Barsha traffic



DUBAI // A Dh940 million interchange linking Hessa Road, Al Khail Road and Al Barsha with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road has been opened by Dubai's roads authority.
The flyover, which took five years to complete, is expected to improve traffic flow between Al Barsha and the motorway.
"By opening this flyover, the RTA has completed the construction of all works in this vital project," said Mattar Al Tayer, chairman of the RTA. "Works in the project, main parts of which had already been opened by the RTA, started in the second quarter of 2008 and was fully completed as per the approved timeline.
