DUBAI // Emirates National Oil Company will open 10 petrol stations this year and 54 stations by 2020. The expansion began with the opening of the Warsan station on the Dubai-Hatta Road in the eastern region of the emirate.
The new stations will be on Sheikh Zayed Road, in Al Barsha South, Hessa Street, Sheikh Rashid Road, Bab Al Shams, Hatta, Jumeirah Village, Al Lehbab Road and Academic City Road.
“The growing demand for service stations is directly linked to the country’s rapid population growth, which presents an opportunity for us to contribute to expanding the UAE’s infrastructural capabilities,” said Saif Al Falasi, Enoc’s group chief executive.
“While the UAE is gearing up for the Expo 2020, we are committed to aligning our strategy to meet the energy needs of the country.”
