Two die in crash on darkened Sharjah streets

SHARJAH // Two Emirati men were killed in a traffic accident last night during the third day of power outages there, officials said. The two, ages 19 and 22, were in an Toyota FJ Cruiser that entered the unlighted Kuwait roundabout about 9.30pm, hit a kerb and overturned, according to police. The vehicle rolled twice. Although rescue workers arrived within five minutes, the men were found dead at the scene. The bodies were taken to Kuwait Hospital.
