UAE buildings lit up in UK colours in tribute to Manchester



Buildings across the country were lit up in the colours of the Union Jack on Tuesday in solidarity with the UK after a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester killed 22 people .

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation condemned the attack and emphasised the UAE’s unwavering stance that rejects terrorism in all its forms.

The Burj Khalifa was among the buildings to be lit up in the colours of the British flag:

Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island in the capital was also illuminated with the Union Jack:
